We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using TIG.

Duties

  • Operate and maintain welding equipment such as TIG welders
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
  • Weld and fabricate metal components to specified dimensions
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, grinding, and finishing workpieces
  • Assemble parts according to engineering drawings
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet standards
  • Working with both stainless and aluminium

Experience

  • Proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication
  • Proficiency in stick welding techniques is advantageous
  • Mechanical knowledge for working with various materials
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and layouts
  • Familiarity with sheet metal work is desirable
