In this role, you will operate and program CNC milling machines to produce precise components according to technical specifications. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to produce complex parts with precision and efficiency.
- Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as SolidWorks.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform grinding, welding, and assembly tasks as needed to complete finished components.
- Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and machine calibration for optimal performance.
- Conduct quality inspections using hand tools and measurement devices to verify tolerances.
- Support the setup and adjustment of machines for plastics injection molding components.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Programmer in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixture setup.
