Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, particularly with MIG or TIG welding and sheet metal. This role involves working with various hand and power tools to create high-quality metal products, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG / TIG welding and other welding techniques to fabricate metal components.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Conduct fabrication of sheet metal according to specifications, ensuring accuracy in measurements.
• Assemble metal structures and components, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, with a focus on TIG welding.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Experience in assembly processes related to metal products is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
