We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician that has a strong background mechanically. If you have previously worked within a machining facility ideally Automotive this could be a fantastic opportunity. The main purpose of the Maintenance Technician will consist of maintaining all production plant machinery to enable continuous running and manufacturing. This will maximise production efficiency, output and reduce downtime of the machines. Preventative maintenance is something the Team Leader’s and Management strongly invest in to reduce the reactive maintenance across site. Roles & Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician: * Providing breakdown cover for both Electrical & Mechanical maintenance * Have knowledge of complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Have knowledge of robotics and automated equipment, fault finding and resolutions * Maintaining adequate records of all breakdown and planned work. * Participate in LEAN manufacturing function within the department & plant. Preferably you will be Multi-Skilled or with an mechanical engineering bias and understanding of multiple skills. It is essential that you have at least an NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance/Engineering, have the ability to read schematic diagrams, ability to MIG/MAG weld and have strong communication skills to work within the team and other divisions across the site. In return the role offers a double day rotation shift pattern with a starting salary of £44,400. In the future there maybe a requirement to switch onto 3 shifts however in this case there would be an additional shift premium on offer.
