Overview

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician that has a background and knowledge of CNC machinery. If you have previously worked within a machining facility ideally Automotive this could be a fantastic opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Providing breakdown cover for both Electrical & Mechanical maintenance
  • Have knowledge and understanding of CNC, machining centres, controls and PLC problem diagnosis.
  • Have knowledge of robotics and automated equipment, fault finding and resolutions
  • Maintaining adequate records of all breakdown and planned work.
  • Participate in LEAN manufacturing function within the department & plant.

Qualifications

  • Preferably you will be Multi-Skilled or have a machine shop bias and understanding of multiple skills.
  • It is essential that you have at least an NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance/Engineering
  • Ability to read schematic diagrams
  • Strong communication skills to work within the team and other divisions across the site

Salary/Benefits

In return the role offers a double day rotation shift pattern with a starting salary of £44,400. In the future there maybe a requirement to switch onto 3 shifts however in this case there would be an additional shift premium on offer.
