Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.

Wentworth Club now wishes to recruit a Marketing Executive to coordinate the activation of the Marketing & Communications plan.

JOB PURPOSE: Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating the creation, scheduling and implementation of the Marketing plan via a collection of Member touch points across Wentworth Club. To ensure effective on‑brand communications of all marketing initiatives to the Members of Wentworth. To ensure that all written content in circulation from the Club, be it online or offline, is in accordance with the brand guidelines, tone of voice and is grammatically correct. To ensure that all activity within the Marketing & Communications plan is executed in a timely and innovative manner, using a variety of marketing tactics.

KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY:

  • To be the “Content Champion” at Wentworth, ensuring that all written content is on brand, grammatically correct and commercially on point.
  • This role will develop a deep understanding of the brand, Member audience and business objectives in order to develop and implement an effective Marketing & Communications strategy.
  • The role will manage the day‑to‑day marketing requirements of the internal business functions.
  • The role will develop relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand the products and the level of quality required.
  • The role will play a leading part in the marketing launch of new initiatives at Wentworth.
  • The role will assist in the development and maintenance of websites, emails and social media.
  • The role will assist with the production of visual assets, including photography and videography.
  • The role will execute additional ad‑hoc tasks to meet the business objectives of the department as directed by the Marketing Manager.

SKILLS:

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including the ability to present concepts verbally.
  • Impeccable grammar knowledge is a must.
  • A confident communicator and presenter.
  • Be incredibly proactive and business‑driven.
  • Possess strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience operating a drone for content capture would be beneficial.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Have previous notable marketing experience in a private Members Club / golf environment with a proven track record in successfully implementing campaigns.
  • Experience delivering results with outstanding verbal, written and storytelling skills.
