Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.
The IT Systems Administrator will work on Systems Infrastructure and support covering a wide range of technologies within Wentworth Club.
Key Areas of Activity:- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for service desk incident requests and perform initial troubleshooting for servers and their applications.
- Provide support, administration, and maintenance of the Windows server estate.
- Assist with the user account and mailbox provisioning following starters/leavers, account amendment requests, and mailbox administration.
- Monitoring of performance, events, and logs to report on any significant events and maintain service stability.
- Support and configure EPOS & Jonas Clubhouse Software.
- Server backup monitoring, verification and restore tests.
- Patching, updating and upgrading of allocated Windows server systems.
- Monitor the network and resolve issues appropriately.
- Deliver in‑house user training providing staff with the appropriate knowledge and skills to fully utilise current IT systems.
- Ensure that all systems and procedures are documented to a high standard and meet audit requirements.
- Identify problematic technology areas within the business and recommend potential solutions.
- Be instrumental in assisting in the planning and design of the IT infrastructure and any IT projects as required.
- Work with third party partners to resolve operational support issues, whilst keeping the business informed and updated through the service desk system.
- Supporting and administering a VMWare environment.
- OS: Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
- Microsoft 365 – Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive & SharePoint.
- Meraki networks – Network Switches, Wifi APs & firewall, TCP/IP, VLAN configuration.
- Solid experience providing 2nd & 3rd line support.
- Good standard of general education.
- Microsoft Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP.
- Working knowledge of voice platforms (e.g. VoIP, PBX).
- A computer science related Degree.
- Experience of Point of Sale, Stock Control, membership management and booking systems.
- Veeam backup solutions.
- Experience of working in the hospitality/leisure/sports industry. Ideally 5-star sector of the industry.
- Experience with Jonas Management Systems.
- Experience supporting and administering EPOS systems.
