Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club.
The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.
As the first point of contact for our Members and Guests, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional five-star experience from the moment they arrive.
Providing a friendly, efficient, and consistent service, you'll ensure every interaction reflects the high standards of Wentworth Club, while maintaining accurate administrative, accounting, and security procedures and supporting an outstanding Member journey throughout their visit.
32 hours per week, including weekends and evenings
Key Areas of Activity
- Meet and greet every Member and Guest entering the Spa, Tennis & Health complex with a warm, professional demeanour.
- Build rapport and engage with members to ensure a highly personalised wellness experience.
- Answer inquiries via telephone, email, and in person regarding fitness classes, tennis courts, and luxury spa treatments.
- Handle complaints with maximum urgency, care, and attention, escalating or resolving them within 24 hours.
- Maintain knowledge of Club Rules, upcoming tennis tournaments, spa promotions, and fitness schedules.
- Create a professional and friendly first impression and ensure all members and guests are greeted in an enthusiastic and courteous manner.
- Assist all members in problems/enquiries as required. Ensure that all guest problems/enquiries are resolved and followed up to ensure a positive outcome.
- Ensure first class service is always provided in accordance with the Club Standard Operating Procedures and Training Manual.
- Liaise with the Duty Manager regarding any special needs for members.
- Monitor the facility presentation liaising with support services; Housekeeping and Facilities, ensuring corrective action is taken where necessary.
- Executes additional ad-hoc tasks to meet the business objectives of the department as directed by the Reception Manager or Tennis & Health Club Manager.
- Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong organisational & planning skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, verbally & written.
- Must be proficient in Excel & Word.
- Experienced working on Leisure or Hospitality booking systems such as Gladstone, Legend, or JAM.
- Have strong customer service skills, previous experience in a 5 Star environment is desirable.
