We’re partnering with a venture-backed insurance technology platform building the infrastructure layer powering the next generation of embedded and digital insurance distribution. The business sits at the intersection of insurance, AI and operational transformation, helping insurers, distributors and enterprise partners launch and scale insurance programmes significantly faster and more efficiently than traditional models allow.
This is not a traditional insurer, broker or SaaS vendor. The platform combines AI-enabled operational capability, embedded distribution infrastructure and carrier partnerships to help businesses launch complex insurance propositions without needing to build large operational teams internally.
As part of their next phase of growth, they are looking to hire a senior Partnerships leader to help drive commercial expansion across enterprise distribution partners, insurers and strategic ecosystem relationships. The role is highly commercial, but also strategic and operational in nature. You would be working closely with founders and senior leadership to shape how partnerships are structured, launched and scaled. The environment is fast-moving, entrepreneurial and genuinely build-focused.
You’ll likely be:
- originating and developing strategic commercial partnerships
- working across embedded and affinity-style distribution models
- helping structure large-scale insurance programmes
- navigating complex stakeholder environments across insurers, TPAs, MGAs and enterprise partners
- influencing proposition development alongside product and operational teams
- identifying scalable routes to market across new verticals and geographies
The ideal profile is probably someone who understands how insurance actually works operationally, but who also thinks commercially and digitally. This could suit someone from:
- embedded insurance (preferred)
- affinity / partnerships (preferred)
- programme business (preferred if you’re actively looking to join a fast paced scale up and you don’t mind a bit of ambiguity)
- digital distribution (relevant)
- consulting (relevant)
- platform or ecosystem-led environments (relevant if you also have insurance experience)
Equally important is mindset. The business needs someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, building from scratch, opening doors commercially and helping shape the direction of the company as it scales. Not a role for someone looking for heavy structure or corporate process. Very much a role for builders.
Equity stake. Flexible working. Highly impressive and experienced team of industry veterans. Some of the most exciting tech on the market right now. Early stage, with big impact and future upside. Feel free to reach out confidentially for more context.
