Are you a commercially driven sales leader with deep roots in the telecom industry and the ambition to build something significant? We're partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, listed network technology company, a specialist in connectivity solutions trusted by international service providers, including some of the world's largest Tier 1 carriers. With a strong R&D backbone, an expanding portfolio spanning Access, Optical Transport, and next-generation SASE/security solutions, and a clear growth mandate, this is a rare opportunity to make a real mark.
A high-impact, high-autonomy regional leadership role covering UK, Nordics, and APAC, a genuinely entrepreneurial role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. You'll take ownership of a lean but established regional team of circa 8 sales and presales professionals spread across the UK, Nordics, Australia, and the APAC. The mandate is to double the region's revenue within three years, with investment and headcount to back it up. You'll also play a central role in a major strategic shift, creating and implementing the GTM strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Defining and executing regional sales strategy across Access, SASE, and Optical solutions
- Owning and growing key relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecom operators and channel partners
- Leading, coaching, and developing a multicultural, multi-country team
- Building pipeline, managing forecasts, and driving accountability against quarterly targets
- Acting as the senior commercial voice for the company across your region
- Collaborating cross-functionally with pre-sales, product, marketing, and finance
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in telecom sales, from a technology vendor or manufacturer, not a carrier background
- Strong knowledge of the CSP/operator market, you understand how service providers buy, and you have the relationships
- Experience selling into UK and/or APAC markets, cultural fluency across these regions matters
- Strong team leadership experience, you’ve managed diverse, geographically spread sales teams
- Comfortable in a lean, hands-on environment, you roll up your sleeves and don't rely on large support teams
- Familiarity with Access and/or software/SASE solutions is a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe and APAC, including regular trips to Australia
- Entrepreneurial mindset, you spot opportunities and move fast
Why This Role?
- Real autonomy, shape the team, the strategy, and the go-to-market from day one
- Clear growth mandate with investment behind it, the ambition to double the region is real, and the resources will follow results
- A business at a genuine inflection point, transitioning from a hardware heritage into software and security, with the technology and customer base to back it up
- Fast career progression and the ability to directly influence company direction, something the large vendors simply can't offer
