Wenham Carter Group are proudly supporting an established global leader in healthcare and diagnostics, specializing in innovative IVD solutions. Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager for North UK & Ireland. Reporting to the General Manager of the UK, the role contributes to the growth of their successful portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the product portfolio to meet sales targets by raising brand awareness and providing support to customers.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage pre- and post-sales processes in collaboration with internal teams.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and meetings, reporting on market trends and competitor activity.
- Coordinate field activities during the pre- and post-sales process in partnership with the relevant colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Proactively address customer questions and concerns professionally to develop loyalty, customer satisfaction, and create new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science/Clinical Sciences or similar field.
- Direct selling experience to the clinical diagnostics market with capital equipment, as seen by recent career history to NHS & Private sectors.
- Awareness of the hospital and laboratory selling market. Established network highly desirable.
- Flexibility to travel within UK & Ireland, with occasional travel to Europe.
