Overview: The Project Manager – International Technology drives the delivery of regional technology initiatives to support restaurant operations, digital platforms, and enterprise strategy.
Project Delivery & Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end management of technology projects across Europe, by planning through implementation and post-launch evaluation.
- Reports directly to the Head of Technology, ensuring projects are executed on time and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Operations, Digital, Marketing, and Finance.
Technology Implementation:
- Oversee deployment of restaurant and enterprise technology systems including POS, CRM, loyalty, digital ordering, and back-of-house platforms.
- Ensure seamless technology rollout for new restaurant openings and market expansions.
- Support technology lifecycle management, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
- Partner with vendors and internal support teams to deliver high-quality implementation and training.
Team & Culture:
- Ensure all project activities adhere to corporate governance, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance standards.
- Manage change control processes, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies and tools.
- Track and report progress against KPIs and communicate status to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with business partners, franchisees, and regional teams to align technology solutions with operational needs.
- Act as the primary liaison between European project teams and global technology functions.
- Support vendor evaluation and contract management in collaboration with procurement and legal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field is preferred.
- PMP or Agile certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within restaurants or hospitality technology environments.
- Proven success delivering multi-market technology projects across the UK.
- Strong understanding of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
