Overview: The Project Manager – International Technology drives the delivery of regional technology initiatives to support restaurant operations, digital platforms, and enterprise strategy.

Project Delivery & Execution:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of technology projects across Europe, by planning through implementation and post-launch evaluation.
  • Reports directly to the Head of Technology, ensuring projects are executed on time and on budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Operations, Digital, Marketing, and Finance.

Technology Implementation:

  • Oversee deployment of restaurant and enterprise technology systems including POS, CRM, loyalty, digital ordering, and back-of-house platforms.
  • Ensure seamless technology rollout for new restaurant openings and market expansions.
  • Support technology lifecycle management, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
  • Partner with vendors and internal support teams to deliver high-quality implementation and training.

Team & Culture:

  • Ensure all project activities adhere to corporate governance, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance standards.
  • Manage change control processes, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies and tools.
  • Track and report progress against KPIs and communicate status to senior leadership.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships with business partners, franchisees, and regional teams to align technology solutions with operational needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between European project teams and global technology functions.
  • Support vendor evaluation and contract management in collaboration with procurement and legal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • PMP or Agile certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within restaurants or hospitality technology environments.
  • Proven success delivering multi-market technology projects across the UK.
  • Strong understanding of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
