Overview
The Project Manager – International Technology drives the delivery of regional technology initiatives to support restaurant ops, digital platforms & enterprise strategy.
Project Delivery & Execution
Lead the end-to-end management of technology projects across Europe, by planning through implementation and post-launch evaluation. Reports directly to the Head of Technology, ensures projects are executed on time and on budget. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Operations, Digital, Marketing & Finance.
Technology Implementation
Oversee deployment of restaurant and enterprise technology systems including POS, CRM, loyalty, digital ordering, and back-of-house platforms. Ensure seamless technology rollout for new restaurant openings and market expansions. Support technology lifecycle management, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance. Partner with vendors and internal support teams to deliver high-quality implementation and training.
Team & Culture
Ensure all project activities adhere to corporate governance, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance standards. Manage change control processes, documentation, and post-implementation reviews. Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies and tools. Track and report progress against KPIs and communicate status to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Build strong relationships with business partners, franchisees, and regional teams to align technology solutions with operational needs. Act as the primary liaison between European project teams and global technology functions. Support vendor evaluation and contract management in collaboration with procurement and legal teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field is preferred. PMP or Agile certification preferred. 7+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within restaurants, or hospitality technology environments. Proven success delivering multi-market technology projects across the UK. Strong understanding of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendor partners. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
