If you’re an experienced engineer who enjoys leading from the front and taking pride in delivering high-quality work, this role could be a great fit. We’re recruiting an Engineering Team Leader for a specialist provider supporting the energy, waste and biomass sectors. You’ll travel to client sites across the UK (with overnight stays away), work hands-on with specialist equipment, and lead a small, motivated team.
Please note: While you’ll receive excellent training, you must come from an engineering, mechanical maintenance, or plant/machinery maintenance background. This is essential for success in the role.

Your Responsibilities
- Working directly on client sites using specialist equipment
- Leading, motivating and developing your team
- Managing tools, stock, paperwork and site processes
- Maintaining excellent Health & Safety standards

- Building strong customer relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Engineering or plant/equipment maintenance background
- Strong leadership qualities
- Experience working with strict Health & Safety standards
- Confident working independently once trained
- Full UK driving licence + right to work in the UK
- Happy to travel and stay away when required
A positive attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important as technical skills.
What’s on Offer
- £31,000 basic, rising to £33,000 after training
- £5,000 annual allowances + overtime
- £38,000–£45,000 expected earnings
- 10% discretionary bonus
- 30 days holiday including BH (increasing with service)

- All travel and hotels fully expensed
