We are seeking a Trainee Property Administrator to join a successful and growing property business based in Aldershot. No previous property experience is required – full training will be provided. What matters most is your communication skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn and desire to build a rewarding career.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable administration experience while developing specialist knowledge within the UK property sector. You will work alongside an experienced Property Administrator who has been with the business for four years and will receive hands-on training and support from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Initially, you'll learn the administrative side of the business, supporting the management of a residential property portfolio across the local area.
- As your experience grows, you'll take on greater responsibility and become a key point of contact for tenants, landlords and contractors.
- Your duties will include:
- Speaking with Nepali-speaking tenants and families, helping to explain processes and documentation in a clear and supportive way.
- Communicating with landlords, tenants, managing agents and contractors, the latter 2 requiring fluency in English language.
- Scheduling maintenance and repair works with plumbers, electricians, builders and other tradespeople.
- Managing emails, updating records and maintaining accurate property files.
- Entering and updating information using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Assisting with tenancy documentation and property administration.
- Learning about UK property legislation, compliance requirements and rental regulations.
- Supporting the wider team to ensure properties are managed efficiently and professionally.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent spoken Nepali or Hindi and English.
- Good written communication skills.
- Good Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Friendly and professional manner when dealing with customers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- An interest in administration, customer service or the property sector would be advantageous.
