Visual Merchandising Project Manager (Luxury Beauty)
6‑month contract | Up to £45,000 pro rata Location: Kingston‑upon‑Thames | Office‑based (HQ role)
A brilliant opportunity to join a luxury beauty brand as a Visual Merchandising Project Manager – with a strong emphasis on project coordination, process, and HQ‑level delivery rather than hands‑on in‑store VM.
This role is office‑based, managing new concession openings, product launches and retail activations across iconic stores including Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Fortnum & Mason. You’ll work closely with suppliers, shopfitters and internal teams to ensure every installation is delivered on time, on budget and to brand standards.
This is a structured, detail‑driven HQ function focused on brand guidelines, POS materials, timelines, budgets and operational excellence – with occasional store visits for checks and approvals.
The Role
You’ll coordinate VM and retail activation projects from brief to installation, ensuring every detail is captured and executed flawlessly. Responsibilities include:
- Managing new concession openings, product launches and promotional activations across luxury retail partners.
- Working strictly to brand guidelines, style direction and POS requirements.
- Coordinating with shopfitters, contractors and suppliers to deliver projects to tight deadlines.
- Raising purchase orders, tracking invoices and managing project budgets.
- Liaising with retail partners to secure approvals on layouts, POS and collateral.
- Tracking installation progress and ensuring all work meets brand and quality standards.
- Organising and distributing POS materials and collateral for upcoming launches.
- Supporting the Head of VM with briefs, planning and ad‑hoc HQ projects.
About You
This role suits someone who is highly organised, resilient and thrives in a structured, fast‑paced environment. You’ll need to be the kind of person who leaves no stone unturned.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in project coordination or project management within retail, merchandising or VM.
- A very process‑driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills – confident dealing with suppliers, contractors and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver to tight timescales.
- Experience managing budgets, POs and supplier documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A calm, solutions‑focused approach and the resilience to handle last‑minute changes.
What’s on Offer
- Up to £45,000 pro rata (6‑month contract).
- 27 days’ holiday pro rata + bank holidays.
- Product allowance.
- Wellness days.
- A supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Occasional store visits to some of London’s most prestigious retail environments.
- Potential for the role to become permanent.
If you’re a detail‑obsessed project manager who loves bringing retail experiences to life this is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected luxury beauty brand and make a real impact.
