HR and Employee Relations Consultant
Full time

We’re looking for a confident, tenacious, and highly knowledgeable HR Consultant with exceptional ER experience to join this successful organisation. You’ll be fully CIPD qualified, have strong commercial acumen coupled with the ability to offer sound HR advice, as well as influence and advise all levels of management on a range of HR issues. Hybrid working
Key responsibilities:
- Offer expert advice on all HR and ER related issues, in particular to lead on complex disciplinaries / grievances, redundancies, TUPE, termination of employment, maternity / paternity, queries, sickness absences, etc.
- Ocassion travel to offices in London and the South.
- Draft and continually review HR documentation (contracts of employment, policy & procedure, probationary review letters, etc.) to ensure legal compliance as well as make recommendations for improvements.
- Responsible for recruitment and onboarding processes, including writing job descriptions, wellbeing, and engagement activities, as well as appraisal and performance management systems.
- Deliver training on a range of topics to senior managers / stakeholders.
- Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support organisational goals
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate HR solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex HR issues
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions
- Stay up-to-date with HR trends and legislation to ensure compliance
- Lead and participate in HR projects as assigned
Experience:
- Fully CIPD qualified.
- Extensive and in depth experience of managing and leading complex ER cases
- Solid and broad HR knowledge gained from 5+ years of workplace experience
- Commercial awareness and confident communicator at all levels
- An excellent communicator who is approachable and open in manner but with the gravitas to advise and lead.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
