To meet the continued growth of the business, you will be working within a busy varied manufacturing department. You will be working to a very high level with very tight deadlines. You will need to be able to set up jobs and check that correct materials are being used. Supervising other members of the team and supporting the production manager, this is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. You must be able to work abiding by health and safety regulations. Please note that our location is quite remote and not easily accessible by public transport.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Check that correct materials are being used to the job sheet specification
  • Check parts to drawings using Verniers, rulers and tape measures
  • Assist & support managers with day-to-day running of the production facility
  • Be able to learn and grow into a manager's role
  • Run jobs time efficiently monitoring quality at all times
  • Self-motivated

Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to read drawings
