We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This entry‑level role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow within a busy, hands‑on environment. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, gaining experience in key aspects of project management and production processes, including screen printing, plastic fabrication, and working with different materials. You will also receive comprehensive training on project management tools such as Sage 50, CRM systems, and communication between multiple departments.
As a Junior Project Manager, you will support senior project managers in delivering projects on time, within scope, and according to client specifications. Your role will involve working closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Please note that we are based in Stow Maries which is quite a remote location and not accessible by public transport.
Key Responsibilities- Assist project managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from inception to completion.
- Gain hands‑on experience in production processes, including screen printing, DTM printing, plastic fabrication, and understanding various materials used in production.
- Use Sage 50 for project financial tracking.
- Learn and utilize CRM systems to create job sheets.
- Work cross‑functionally with other departments, including production, sales, and design, to ensure timely project delivery.
- Attend and participate in project meetings, taking notes and contributing to discussions as required.
- Identify and elevate any potential issues or roadblocks to senior management in a timely manner.
- Continuously develop your project management and technical skills through on‑the‑job training and mentoring.
- A keen interest in learning about project management, production processes, and various manufacturing techniques.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Proactive attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and learn new skills.
- Basic understanding of project management principles is a plus but not essential.
- A genuine interest in working with materials and learning about screen printing, plastic fabrication, and other production techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Sage 50 and CRM systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Strong written English, numeracy & organisational skills.
- Knowledge of plastic fabrication techniques and woodworking a plus.
- Some knowledge of POS/POP industry.
- Basic knowledge of acrylic, woods, metals and other materials etc.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
