WENBAR LIMITED Location: Stow Maries, Chelmsford, United Kingdom
We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Machine Operative to join our team, who has the ability to run a day shift. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines and will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments. The ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, be able to work independently, have a good understanding of the principles of CNC machining and be able to manage a shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Use machine operating systems such as Tekcel, Multicam, Titan fibre laser, Press brake, Carveco, Enroute.
- Read technical drawings to determine the correct setup and operation of the machine.
- Perform quality checks on finished parts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines.
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines.
- Make adjustments to the machines as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience.
- Experience using Titan Fibre Laser / Press Brake.
- Experience with software packages/programmes Carveco / Enroute.
- Experience using Tekcel / Multicam machines.
- Hold a current driving license and have access to a vehicle (location is not accessible by public transport).
