4-days a week (30 hours) | £20,400 pro rata (FTE £25,500) | In-person at our Wrexham WeConnect Hub | Start Date 18th May 2026

As a Youth Development Officer (YDO) with WeMindTheGap you will have the opportunity to be part of something special. Our award-winning programmes are delivered to young people with unashamed love, care, and consistency, providing them with the foundation they need to thrive.

This YDO role will work on our WeBridge employability programme, supporting young people aged 16–25 looking for work. You will be offering friendly support with job applications, interview prep, mentoring, confidence building, and connecting young people with local employers. The programme is flexible, allowing young people to access it as often or as little as they need.

The deadline to apply is 12:00pm on the 24th April 2026. If shortlisted, you will need to attend a face-to-face interview on the 7th of May 2026.

WeMindTheGap is part funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in partnership with Flintshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Council.
