We are seeking to appoint School Meals Supervisor Assistants to join our vibrant and welcoming special school. We are really excited to have opened Wembley Manor School to our first year groups of amazing pupils (we currently have Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils). We are currently a small school but we have big plans to grow, year on year, to provide 150 school places to young people, once full, who require specialist support in order to thrive and be well prepared for adulthood.

We are looking for someone:

  • To supervise children during the lunchtime break, this includes managing and supporting the children’s eating and play opportunities.
  • To work co-operatively and in close partnership with all SMSA and class based staff colleagues.
  • To be vigilant and alert to all aspects of health & safety and safeguarding during this time.

We are looking for:

  • Positive, energetic and nurturing SMSAs
  • Applicants who have a keen interest in special needs;
  • Candidates who are willing to support pupils with positively managing their behaviour
  • Experience or knowledge of autism and/or a range of learning needs and disabilities is an advantage.
  • Observant, conscientious and professional individuals who will prioritise the safety and well-being of all of our pupils by following all of our safeguarding processes.
