We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Admin Officer with Reception Duties to join our school community and play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Working closely with the Office Manager and Headteacher, you will provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors, pupils and staff. You will be someone who enjoys working with people, can manage a busy and varied workload, and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient and confidential administrative support.
The role is varied and includes general administration, reception duties, managing enquiries and correspondence, maintaining school records, supporting events and meetings, ordering supplies and assisting with the administration of EHCP annual reviews. You will also support pupil data and attendance processes, including using Arbor to maintain accurate records and produce reports.
As a key member of the school office team, you will need to communicate confidently and sensitively, respond calmly to emerging issues and be able to prioritise competing demands. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the school while also using your own initiative to ensure tasks are completed effectively and to a high standard.
Safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection are central to the role. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-organised school environment and will be expected to uphold the school's values, policies and commitment to inclusion and equality.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is positive, approachable, highly organised and committed to making a difference to the experience of pupils, families and staff. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships, embrace a varied workload and contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
