Wem and Prees Medical Practice are looking for a 4 to 6 session Salaried GP to join our experienced team across two North Shropshire sites, starting October 2026. Our practice cares for just over 12,000 patients and employs a multidisciplinary team, including Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Cancer Care Coordination and Social Prescribing.
Main duties of the job
- As a Salaried GP you will deliver a balanced mix of clinical sessions across face‑to‑face, telephone and online consultations within our Total Triage model.
- You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, contribute to teaching and mentoring, and support the ongoing development of the practice.
Job responsibilities
- Provide autonomous medical services to the practice population.
- Deliver high‑quality clinical care in line with the GMS contract and GMC standards.
- Participate in effective practice management and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
Person Specification
- We seek a candidate who is a Qualified GP, holds an MRCGP, and has completed vocational training or equivalent JCPTGP or CCT.
