Overview

Who are we? In 2017, after more than ten years in the lift industry across Europe and Asia, Benoît Dupont noticed a system stuck in its ways where speed takes priority over quality and frontline teams remain invisible. With Jade Francine and Tristan Foureur, he founded WeMaintain to put technology, trust and people back at the heart of building maintenance. Their ambition: give technicians back their autonomy, rely on in-house IoT technology, and deliver a service designed for users and clients. Based in Paris, London, Singapore and Hong Kong, we maintain lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems. With 300+ employees, we combine on-the-ground expertise with data-driven management to deliver high-performing, transparent, and sustainable maintenance. We don’t just maintain buildings. We transform how they’re operated.

Why join us? Because here, you don’t have to choose between autonomy and stability. Large groups often offer stability, but little room to manoeuvre. Smaller organisations allow more freedom, but sometimes without clear direction. At WeMaintain, we strike the right balance:

  • Real autonomy, with modern tools and strong support
  • A culture built on trust, transparency and respect
  • Genuine opportunities for growth and internal mobility
  • A team that values commitment, perseverance and the drive to make things happen

And our values guide us every day:

  • Care: Working with respect and kindness, internally as well as with our customers
  • Grit: Seeing things through, with high standards and determination
  • Uniqueness: Daring to be yourself, sharing your ideas and challenging the status quo

Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for a Technical Repair Sales Manager to join our UK team in London. This role focuses on identifying, scoping and converting higher-value repair, upgrade and capital works opportunities across both our existing service portfolio and new client sites. Working closely with Service Engineers, Operations Managers and Branch leadership, you will play a key role in identifying technical issues, lifecycle risks and performance improvements that can be converted into major repair and upgrade projects. This is a hands-on technical commercial role. While the role has no direct reports, it works closely with operations teams to develop and deliver complex repair opportunities and drive repair revenue growth.

Your day-to-day at WeMaintain:

  • Reviewing service reports and engineer recommendations to identify major repair opportunities
  • Conducting site surveys and technical assessments for complex repair works
  • Preparing technical scopes and quotations for higher-value repairs and upgrades
  • Supporting engineers and operations teams to identify CAPEX opportunities across the portfolio
  • Developing repair proposals for both existing clients and off-portfolio sites
  • Supporting customer discussions around asset condition, reliability and lifecycle planning

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience within the lift / escalator repair or modernisation sector
  • Solid technical knowledge of lift / escalator systems and components
  • Experience scoping and quoting complex repairs
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify high-value opportunities
  • Strong collaboration skills when working with engineers and operational teams
  • Confident communication with customers and internal stakeholders

Bonus points if:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering
  • Experience with major repair or modernisation proposals
  • Experience working closely with service operations teams

What success looks like:

  • Building a strong pipeline of high-value repair and upgrade opportunities
  • Converting technical opportunities into profitable repair projects
  • Supporting operations teams to improve asset reliability and lifecycle planning
  • Delivering technically accurate proposals and strong commercial outcomes

What we offer:

  • A role with real ownership and impact
  • A mission-driven company with a high bar for quality and safety
  • Incentive scheme linked to repair sales performance
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Collaboration with experienced engineering and operations teams
  • Career development within a growing lift services business

Benefits include: private healthcare, pension, company socials and more.
