Who are we? In 2017, after more than ten years in the lift industry across Europe and Asia, Benoît Dupont noticed a system stuck in its ways where speed takes priority over quality and frontline teams remain invisible. With Jade Francine and Tristan Foureur, he founded WeMaintain to put technology, trust and people back at the heart of building maintenance. Their ambition: give technicians back their autonomy, rely on in-house IoT technology, and deliver a service designed for users and clients. Based in Paris, London, Singapore and Hong Kong, we maintain lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems. With 300+ employees, we combine on-the-ground expertise with data-driven management to deliver high-performing, transparent, and sustainable maintenance. We don’t just maintain buildings. We transform how they’re operated.
Why join us? Because here, you don’t have to choose between autonomy and stability. Large groups often offer stability, but little room to manoeuvre. Smaller organisations allow more freedom, but sometimes without clear direction. At WeMaintain, we strike the right balance:
- Real autonomy, with modern tools and strong support
- A culture built on trust, transparency and respect
- Genuine opportunities for growth and internal mobility
- A team that values commitment, perseverance and the drive to make things happen
And our values guide us every day:
- Care: Working with respect and kindness, internally as well as with our customers
- Grit: Seeing things through, with high standards and determination
- Uniqueness: Daring to be yourself, sharing your ideas and challenging the status quo
Who we’re looking for? We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Discovery & Experience to join our Product & Engineering team in Europe (remote-friendly). In this role, you will turn high-impact operational opportunities into well-shaped product bets that improve service performance, revenue, and efficiency, while protecting end-to-end user experience across complex workflows. As WeMaintain scales, our biggest constraint is not ideas or engineering capacity, it’s turning messy operational problems into clear, build-ready product direction. You will own the shaping and solution-definition phase of our most important initiatives, ensuring that when the team builds, they build the right thing, for the right reason, with a coherent end-to-end experience.
Your day-to-day at WeMaintain:
- Frame high-impact product opportunities with the CPO, tied to service KPIs (revenue, efficiency, cost-to-serve)
- Run deep discovery with Field Engineers, Ops/CSMs, Supply teams, and Customers
- Turn operational pain into clear problem statements, journey maps, and scoped bets (including non-goals)
- Define end-to-end flows, interaction logic, system states, and edge cases
- Ensure experience consistency across multi-role workflows in complex operational contexts
- Align teams through prototypes and lightweight artefacts that define system behaviour
- Link each initiative to measurable operational and financial outcomes, making product impact explicit
You will work on initiatives such as:
- Turning operational signals into monetisable Work Orders
- Using AI to reduce coordination load for CSMs and Supply teams
- Making field engineer decisions faster through better context and diagnostics
What we’re looking for: You might be a great fit if you:
- Are driven by solving hard, messy problems and turning ambiguity into clear, workable product direction
- Move naturally toward problems instead of around them, and don’t wait for perfect conditions to make progress
- Break complex systems down fast, see structure where others see noise, and push things toward practical solutions
- Have worked on B2B, operational, or workflow-heavy products where multiple actors, constraints, and edge cases are the norm
- Are comfortable working close to technical constraints and making smart tradeoffs to keep things moving
- Thrive at owning decisions in ambiguous spaces and being accountable for the clarity and direction of what gets built
- Are pragmatic and outcome-oriented — more motivated by solving meaningful problems than by polishing perfect artefacts
We care more about how you think, how fast you learn, and how you approach complex problems than about a specific career path. Strong candidates may come from Product Management, Product Design, or other roles where they’ve shaped complex systems, including being the first product hire in a team or domain.
Why is this role different? Your work shows up in the real world, fast. What you shape changes how engineers operate on-site, how teams coordinate, and how revenue is generated — not just what appears in a tool. This is applied AI in live service systems, where decisions affect execution every day. We build things that have to work in the field, under real constraints, not in slide decks. You’ll run toward messy, multi-actor operational problems and turn them into systems that actually make work simpler and clearer. The complexity is real — and so is the impact of getting it right. You’ll have unusually high ownership and room to move, in a team that values initiative, sharp thinking, and tangible outcomes over process, titles, or ceremony. You’ll spend more time thinking, structuring, and defining than running ceremonies or managing backlogs.
How to apply: Every application is reviewed carefully. Let us know who you are, what attracts you to this role, and what you’d like to build with us. We value motivation, curiosity and potential over a “perfect” background. To apply, click the “Apply” button below and answer a few questions in the form. It’s quick, and it helps us get to know you better. At WeMaintain, we value diversity, encourage personal development, and are committed to inclusion. Whatever your background, story or identity, you are welcome to apply.
Recruitment Process:
- An initial phone call with Katia (Recruitment Manager) - 30 mins: To get to know each other, understand your background and expectations
- An interview with Matthieu (CPO) - 45 mins: A working conversation about product thinking, operational complexity, and how you approach shaping ambiguous problems
- A practical exercise: A practical scenario inspired by real WeMaintain challenges. We’re interested in your structure, tradeoffs, and clarity, not polished slides.
- A final conversation with 2 to 3 WeMaintain team members - 30 mins: A discussion with Product & Engineering team members to explore collaboration style, ownership, and expectations on both sides.
Salary UK: £65,000 - £85,000 base salary. The exact package will depend on experience, level of ownership, and demonstrated impact. We are open to high-potential profiles who may sit below the top of the range, as well as more experienced candidates operating at the upper end.
