We are looking for a full-time Senior Auditor to join our growing team in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and ambitious professional who wants to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking firm.
As Senior Auditor, you will oversee all aspects of audit work, including accounts and tax preparation for a varied portfolio of SME clients with a team backing you up. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional service.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in an audit practice
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client assignments
- Experience with My Work Papers is an advantage but not essential
- Familiarity with Xero and Digita (Thomson Reuters) would also be beneficial
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing audit and accounts working files
- Supporting and mentoring the audit team
- Conducting audit work in line with agreed procedures
- Producing audit summaries and discussion points for director/partners
- Working within agreed budgets and timeframes
- Preparing draft tax computations and disclosures
- Managing client deadlines and queries
- Handling ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Audit qualified (or equivalent)
- Ambition to progress to Responsible Individual (RI) status
