We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic support officer to provide high quality, reliable and competent administrative and technical support to the Regulatory Services Team. The team covers a wide range of services including Food, Health and Safety, Environmental Protection, Enviro-crime, Licensing, Private Sector Housing and allied support services.

You will be the first point of contact for members of the public, local businesses, partner agencies and emergency services. You will need to be pro-active, motivated and able to work under pressure. You will have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing and be confident in resolving enquiries from members of the public and the local business community. Excellent ICT skills are essential. Having experience of working in a regulatory environment is desirable.

You will have excellent time management skills and be able to meet deadlines. You will be able to maintain accurate data records and assist with the collation and completion of statistical returns, reports and general data analysis. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.

The role is hybrid working with the expectation of attending the office a minimum of two days a week, dependent on service needs.
