The predicted salary is between 50696 - 53953 £ per year.
Starting salary £50,696 pro rata with progression to £53,953 pro rata through annual increments subject to satisfactory service (inclusive of outer fringe allowance).

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic senior professional to guide the service functions within regulatory services. This is an exciting new opportunity to manage up to three professional officers, perfect for those experienced officers looking at stepping into management. The Team covers a specialist area of Licensing.
Key responsibilities:
- The Team Leader will support the Regulatory Services Manager in the delivery of their area of specialism and is responsible for providing technical support to the team.
- The post holder will also undertake proactive and reactive work, responding to a range of service requests.
- The post holder will have managerial responsibility for professional and technical staff, and the delivery of the work programme to ensure that all service objectives, targets and service levels are understood, monitored and performed by all members of the team.
- The post holder will work in collaboration with other services, and the senior management team to ensure services are aligned to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and capable professional with proven experience in service delivery. A track record of seeing complex cases through to conclusion and seeking service improvements. You’ll bring excellent technical knowledge, a passion for your service area with excellent time management skills and an innovative approach. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a prominent public-facing service, offering the opportunity to shape standards across the borough. You will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. The post is politically restricted.
