The Role
Rather than day-to-day processing, this key client-side role puts you in the driving seat of quality, accuracy, and strategic delivery. Working alongside our established partner, Liberata UK Ltd, you will play a central role in auditing, monitoring performance, and shaping the future of our Revenues and Benefits service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level quality assurance checks on Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and Council Tax work.
- Interpret complex benefit legislation and case law to drive continuous service improvements and best practice.
- Collaborate closely with internal housing teams, Hertfordshire local authorities, the DWP, and the Shared Anti-Fraud Service.
- Act as a key liaison to resolve complex enquiries from residents, Members, and stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven background in processing Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support with strong technical knowledge of benefit legislation.
Qualifications: IRRV / IRRV NVQ qualification is desirable. Extensive equivalent processing experience in Housing Benefits is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Mindset: A collaborative team player who takes ownership and is motivated by delivering excellence.
