This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Supported Housing, Housing Allocations and Housing Options, working with our partners and in-house teams to help make Welwyn Hatfield a positive and healthy place to be.

You will be responsible for a range of services from independent living, housing allocations, homelessness and rough sleeping. You will lead the development of strategies, action plans and policies, to secure housing provision for those most in need in our borough.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative leader who has a degree or post-graduate Housing qualification. You will have experience of supported housing, housing allocations or homelessness and rough sleeping, managing substantial budgets, people and programmes and is passionate about making a real difference to the people of Welwyn Hatfield.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post. The post holder will hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. This post is politically restricted.
