The predicted salary is between 28426 - 30324 € per year.

Starting salary £28,426 pa with progression to £30,324 pa through annual increments subject to satisfactory service (inclusive of outer fringe allowance). 37 hours per week (hybrid working). 1 x permanent role. 1 x maternity cover up to 12 months.

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic support officer to provide high quality, reliable and competent administrative and technical support to the Regulatory Services Team. The team covers a range of services including Food, Health and Safety, Environmental Protection, Enviro-crime, Licensing, Private Sector Housing and allied support services.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for members of the public, local businesses, partner agencies and emergency services.
  • Provide proactive, motivated support and work under pressure.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, resolving enquiries from the public and business community.
  • Maintain accurate data records and assist with the collation and completion of statistical returns, reports and general data analysis.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, attending the office a minimum of two days a week depending on service needs.
  • Use excellent ICT skills to support administrative and technical tasks.

Qualifications

  • Excellent ICT skills.
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment is desirable.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
