Starting salary £37,160pa with potential progression to £39,974pa on achieving designated skills and experience. 37 hours per week (hybrid).

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our Transformation Team in leading on business analysis and improvement projects in relation to the council’s utilities and energy services. This post holder will be responsible for projects to improve processes, manage utilities contracts and support the rollout of smart meters across the council’s building portfolio.

This role combines the responsibilities of managing improvement projects with the analytical skills of a business analyst. You need to be a detail-oriented professional with a passion for process improvement. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with people, facilitating workshops for capturing information and championing change.

Working closely with service teams and stakeholders, you will identify, analyse, and recommend improvements to how utilities are managed, as well as support the management and delivery of the relevant projects. The successful candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role. They should be able to work well with a variety of people and have strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with a wide range of audiences.

The role is hybrid - we are looking for somebody to work in our main office in Welwyn Garden City at least two days per week. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
