The predicted salary is between 60175 - 69590 £ per year.
Starting salary £60,175 pa with progression to £69,590 pa through annual increments subject to satisfactory service (inclusive of outer fringe allowance). 37 hours per week (hybrid working).
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Manager to take on the newly formed Regulatory Services Department. This exciting role gives you the opportunity to help design and shape the service for the future. The department covers a range of services including Food, Health and Safety, Environmental Protection, Enviro‑crime, Licensing, Private Sector Housing and allied support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and promote strong, effective leadership and management, demonstrating and promoting the Council’s values and behaviours to motivate staff to deliver high quality services to customers.
- Plan, lead, develop and monitor robust performance standards in accordance with the Council’s priorities as set out in the Corporate Plan, seeking to continuously improve services.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders and external partners to deliver aligned projects and priorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Confident and capable professional with proven experience in service improvement and a track record of delivering tangible service improvements.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking and a passion for improving the local area.
- Valid driving licence and access to a car.
