We are a brand new luxury care home, and we provide the most beautiful high‑quality environment for our residents to live in, and for you to work in. Everyone says it, but we actually really mean it – we offer a truly fresh and inspirational approach to residential, nursing and support care. Our values are ‘Competence, Choice and Compassion’.

As a Care Assistant at Welwyn Grange, you will be able to show genuine kindness and empathy to our residents, placing them at the centre of everything you do. You will need experience, and you will need to share the values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own. To be successful, we require a commitment from you to deliver first‑rate care with both compassion and courage.

Responsibilities
  • Being a caring and friendly listening ear, helping our residents feel that Welwyn Grange is their home.
  • Empowering and supporting our residents to make their own choices.
  • Helping residents with their daily activities like washing, dressing, eating.

We are committed to protecting and safeguarding vulnerable adults and successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity.

Development & Support

We highly value our care assistants, and you will be encouraged to develop your career and skills through our excellent, tailored training and support. In return you will demonstrate a good work ethic and excellent communication skills.
