We are looking for applicants who have achieved a 2:2 or higher in a Structural or Structural & Civil combined, or Water Engineering related degree by September 2026. No prior experience is required.

Your Graduate Scheme:
As part of the Engineering Department's Assets function, you will support engineering expertise across the Business, including major investment programmes such as AMP8. Projects will vary in scale and complexity, covering maintenance and improvement works to Welsh Water’s assets – dams, pipelines, treatment works, pumping stations, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support on projects to ensure they are designed safely, on time, within budget, and to the desired quality, working closely with the Engineering team and other business stakeholders.
- Complete engineering design activities to the appropriate DCWW standard specifications, under close supervision of experienced Engineers to ensure the appropriate level of quality is attained.
- Provide support on projects through a design assurance process of technical proposals and 3rd-party designs linked to the Build Quality Assurance Strategy.
- Actively participate in NEC Supervision, linked to the Build Quality Assurance Strategy.
- Work with Framework providers and the wider supply chain to deliver projects.

Location & Travel:
The scheme will primarily be based in South Wales, but may require travel to sites across Wales and its borders with notice.
