The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work as a part of a busy and well-established team. You will have a good knowledge, understanding and experience of general maintenance areas including painting, plumbing, carpentry and other general repairs and maintenance. You will need to be confident and able to work at heights including the ability to climb ladders. Lifting will be a part of the role, so being physically fit will be a necessity. You will need to be prepared to work some unsociable hours.

The Role:
- To carry out maintenance duties as and when required
- To ensure work and storage spaces are kept clean, clear and free of obstruction
- To provide maintenance support where tasks include painting, plumbing, seat repairs, barriers, carpentry, doors and concrete repairs within the stadium
- Understand personal responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety at Work legislation and demonstrate a working knowledge of COSHH assessment applicable in own work area
- Take reasonable care of items of equipment used to carry out tasks, including general cleanliness and advising on faults and need for maintenance or replacement goods
- Ensure best practice at all times
- Reporting to supervisor or manager incident or accident
- To carry out inspection and checks as appropriate in advance of events including checks of toilets, surface finishes, seating, building fabric, etc.
- To provide reactive and proactive support to specific event day issues and ensure communication with maintenance supervisor and stadium control room to ensure an efficient resolution
- Ensure wherever possible, that staff relationships remain courteous, professional and appropriate and identify areas of concern to the management team as they arise.
- Demonstrate strong carpentry, building and decorating related skills
- Carry out duties in support of the WRU Group Strategic Mission, Purpose and Values
WRU Requirements:
- The WRU require that individuals are proficient in IT skills, specifically Microsoft packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communications are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh and a Valid UK Driver's License is desirable.
- This role is subject to a basic/enhanced DBS check.
