Overview

Independent Adviser to the Senedd Commission (Duration: 3 years fixed‑term; Location: Cardiff).

Responsibilities

Act in a non‑political advisory capacity to the Executive Team, building constructive relationships and offering supportive challenge across the Commission’s business to ensure strategy and delivery are scrutinised for effectiveness and efficiency. Contribute to corporate governance, monitor performance and progress of the organisation, and maintain a critical overview of financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Expertise in finance, audit and risk.
  • Demonstrated dignity and respect, equality and inclusion.
  • Experience in transformation, digital change or senior leadership.

Commitment & Remuneration

Approximately 15 days per year, £5,000 per annum, with an additional £2,000 available for advisory committee chairing responsibilities.
