Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA), Manufacturing & Distribution Department – Talbot Green
The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) seeks a Medical Laboratory Assistant based in the Manufacturing & Distribution department at the Talbot Green base.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine and specialist technical tasks, including the production of blood components suitable for transfusion.
- Ensure all processes meet the requirements of the UK Guidelines for Blood Transfusion and the EU Directive, as inspected by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
Qualifications
- Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh. Both Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
