Responsibilities include working as part of the Clinical Services Team based at WBS HQ Talbot Green, providing support for the collation of data and management of donor adverse events and low risk incidents. The role involves recording, validating, and analysing data relating to Clinical and Collections Services performance and quality function for clinical audit and quality assurance purposes to contribute to and improve donor care.
The co-ordinator will assist in the coordination of information for the specialist multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective cooperation between departments across the blood donor pathway involved in the delivery of donor care. Additionally, the role requires engagement with and collaboration alongside all health care professionals and administrative staff throughout the donor journey.
