It's been an exciting time at Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust as we continue our journey of "Being our Best", and our mission to provide world-class patient care. Due to internal moves and career progression opportunities within the Trust, we are now looking to recruit new Ambulance Care Assistant 2. As this is no ordinary role, we will be looking for extraordinary people to join one of our 6 week training programmes.

Main duties of the job
Ambulance Care Assistant 2 are often seen as entry level opportunities, with many staff progressing into Emergency Medical Technician or even Paramedic roles. You will already have a real passion for patient care, together with excellent communication and people skills. You will also be a committed team player and relish a job where no two days are the same. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Welsh Language level 1 skills are desirable for this role.

In line with the Trust’s Starting Salary Procedure, all applicants will start at the bottom of the band for the position applied for, but can apply for a higher salary if they have previous experience relevant to the position.
