OVERVIEWIn this exciting position, the content reviewer will localize, translate, and adapt content across various categories (e.g., multimedia, legal, technical, marketing), with a primary focus on sports, while adhering to style guides and guidelines.
Main Duties- Write new copy for multimedia products such as music, TV, app store apps, video-on-demand, and game subscription services.
- Perform linguistic reviews of their own work and that of other localization team members for all content types.
- Copy-edit and fact-check content to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct LQA (Localization QA) testing on live platform content, including music and app descriptions, marketing materials, and campaigns.
- Research market-specific content treatment, trends, and best localization practices for the target audience.
- BS/BA and 2+ years of experience in linguistic, journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing media content, with writing samples.
- Strong command of sport culture and terminology, especially MLS/soccer.
- Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content.
- Native-level fluency in Swedish, with excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
- Strong creative writing, proofreading, and editing skills in Swedish.
- Knowledge of music artists, TV, cinema, gaming, and pop culture.
- Proficiency with computers and mobile devices, including word processors, spreadsheets, digital presentations, search engines, keyboard shortcuts, virtual conferences, and social media.
- Knowledge of iOS/MacOS systems.
- Ability to type in native language using a local keyboard.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Team-oriented and comfortable in a multicultural environment.
