On successful completion of the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship, the apprentice may progress into a permanent dispensing assistant role, with the opportunity to advance to the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship and further develop a long-term career in community pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
- Dispensing support duties.
- Stock management.
- Ordering, date checking and labelling.
- Customer Service.
They will assist patients at the counter, learn pharmacy systems, and develop knowledge of medicines and NHS services while completing structured training and workplace learning.
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
Training will take place at the workplace – no need to travel to a college.
Working Hours:
Shift work between 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and rotational 8 Hours on a Saturday.
