We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Volunteer Grant/Bid Writer to help us secure funding that supports our walking-for-wellbeing projects. You’ll play a key role in helping us grow, sustain, and expand our impact across local communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify suitable grant and funding opportunities
  • Write, edit, and submit compelling funding applications
  • Collaborate with Libby Croft and the WellWalk CiC team to align bids with project goals
  • Maintain a simple record of applications and outcomes
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen our funding strategy and long-term sustainability

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in grant or bid writing (or a strong interest in learning)
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • A genuine passion for helping people overcome social isolation and improve wellbeing
