We believe in tackling social isolation, building confidence, and creating inclusive opportunities for everyone to feel part of their community one step at a time.
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Volunteer Grant/Bid Writer to help us secure funding that supports our walking-for-wellbeing projects. You’ll play a key role in helping us grow, sustain, and expand our impact across local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify suitable grant and funding opportunities
- Write, edit, and submit compelling funding applications
- Collaborate with Libby Croft and the WellWalk CiC team to align bids with project goals
- Maintain a simple record of applications and outcomes
- Contribute ideas to strengthen our funding strategy and long-term sustainability
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in grant or bid writing (or a strong interest in learning)
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A genuine passion for helping people overcome social isolation and improve wellbeing
