Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Engineer located in Aberdeen. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and designing bespoke engineering solutions for our clients in the oil and gas industry. Daily tasks include creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, carrying out design modifications, performing simulation and testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Design Engineer will also be involved in project reviews and providing technical support during the implementation phase.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
- Experience in mechanical design and engineering principles
- Knowledge of oil and gas well completion and intervention processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
