The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. Wellsway School and IKB Academy are seeking an enthusiastic and values‑driven Careers Education and Guidance Co‑ordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate and develop a high‑quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance, supporting students and parents at key transition points (Year 9, Year 11, Year 13). You’ll be part of a supportive and ambitious team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential. You’ll join colleagues who work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where staff and pupils thrive together.
Commitment to safeguarding:
Your suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. Prior to appointment, Futura Learning Partnership will apply for a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring check, a Children’s Barred list check, two satisfactory references, satisfactory pre‑employment health screening and, for teachers, a Prohibition Check in relation to the children’s workforce. In some settings, a Declaration will be required in order to meet our obligations under the ‘Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2006’.
