About this role
Springwell Learning Community Lincolnshire, part of The Wellspring Academy Trust, seeks a Level 1 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will assist the class teacher in creating a safe and productive learning environment and support small classes where building strong relationships with pupils is a priority.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery.
- Support pupils’ learning and development within the individual education plan framework.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages behaviour improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engaging, relevant curriculum.
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant teaching assistant experience, or equivalent experience working with children (including those with special educational needs).
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and a passion for supporting vulnerable children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
