Are you an exceptional Maths teacher ready to make a genuine difference? We are seeking a creative leader to head our Maths department at Springwell Leeds Academy East Site. This is more than a teaching job; it is an opportunity to empower vulnerable learners through Unconditional Positive Regard.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Curriculum: Oversee the implementation and delivery of Maths across the site.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Subject Leaders at our other two Leeds sites to ensure academy-wide excellence.
- Teach & Inspire: Deliver Maths up to GCSE level and support a team of non-specialist teachers in Key Stage 2 and 3.
- Shape Futures: Create personalised pathways that prepare students for education, work, or training.
We provide a high-quality education for 340 students (ages 7–16) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Operating from three brand-new, purpose-built facilities, we prioritise relationships, trauma-informed practice, and restorative approaches.
