Position Highlights:
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician.
- Full consultative practice only. No Deliveries.
- Join a collaborative team of 7 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers at 5 office locations.
- Ultrasound Units with AIUM accredited team of Sonographers trained in Obstetric and Fetal Echocardiograph.
- Dedicated team of 3 full-time genetics counselors and a diabetes management team inclusive of a diabetes educator, nutritionist and diabetes para-professional.
- Call rotation every 7th week. Call coverage and inpatient services (York Hospital) on a per week basis running from Monday-Sunday.
- Work at a hospital with Level 3 NICU and Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department.
- Regular provider meetings (twice monthly) to discuss practice operations, clinical guidelines, complex patients, general concerns.
- Monthly meeting with NICU to provide planning for our complex fetal patients, receive feedback on NICU patients and now, an education component around a particular diagnosis or ultrasound finding.
- Enjoy working and collaborating with 20 OB/GYN residents.
- We are working to further enhance behavioral health services across the system with coordination of efforts across the lifespan of women to provide support not only around pregnancy but also with trauma, infertility, enhanced grief support for patients with anomalies, loss, termination for anomalies, etc. We have a large database of our diabetes patients and the pregnancy outcomes that offer opportunity for some outcome research. There is also a program for follow-up of preeclampsia patients to reduce future cardiovascular disease.
