Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Excavator Operator (head office based in Pyle, Bridgend). Daily responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and maintaining heavy equipment
- Ensuring safe operational practices
- Coordinating with team members to meet project specifications and deadlines
- Contributing to site preparation and effective execution of civil works
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Operation including lifting operations
- Experience in Excavation and Trench work, ensuring safety and adherence to project specifications
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow site plans effectively
- Willingness to assist with groundworkers
- Relevant certifications or licenses to operate excavation equipment (e.g., CPCS or NPORS) 10 tonne above and below
The successful candidate will be expected to be on the ground, hands on, on occasion.
